FreeRoomFinder shows you which classrooms at BYU are unoccupied during a time window — great for finding a quiet study space or an open room for a group meeting.

How to use

Select a building from the list.
Choose a day and time range.
Click Find Free Rooms.

First-time loading

The first time you search a building, the app fetches its full room schedule from BYU's website and stores it. This can take 30–90 seconds. A progress bar will appear while it loads. After that, results are instant.

Cached data

Schedules are cached on the server and shared — if someone else has already loaded a building, you'll get results immediately. Buildings marked cached are ready to go.
